Search Engine and Directory Websites
Search engine and directory websites allow users to locate other websites, web pages products, services and other information on the Internet.
Search engine uses spiders to crawl the Internet collecting information, indexing and documenting information from websites and cataloguing them in a database.
Web directory on the other hand requires webmasters to manually submit their website to the web directory. The submitted website is then check by a directory editor before being included into the database.
